The seven newly appointed multicultural teams will take care of various responsibilities of the magnificent 263-key hotel

Hyatt Regency Dehradun recently named seven industry pillars to its pre-opening team, including new property general manager Harkaran Singh.

The management team:

* Harkaran Singh, Managing Director: He brings with him 15 years of varied experience in Marriott & Hyatt hotels in India. He started his journey with the Hyatt family 12 years ago and worked in Hyatt Pune in 2010 for Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli, Hyatt Regency Kolkata and was General Manager of Hyatt Raipur. In his role as General Manager, Singh leads the multicultural team at this magnificent 263-key hotel across all disciplines.

* Nikhil Raje, Head of Human Resources: He brings with him 12 years of industry experience in Marriott, Radisson, Accor and Hyatt hotels in India. His last assignment before joining Hyatt Regency Dehradun was at Hyatt Pune as Human Resources Manager. Raje will be responsible for recruiting the team, managing payroll, ensuring ethical business practices, statutory compliance, associate well-being, learning and developing and engaging the team. ‘team.

* Vijayakumar Singh R, Chief Engineer: He brings 29 years of enriching experience in Taj, Meridian and Hyatt hotels in India with Hyatt travel being 20 years and older. Singh will be responsible for the management, operations, rectification of all hotel furnishings, fixtures and fittings while ensuring sustainable practices and increasing efficiency throughout the hotel.

* Sunishchal Parasnis, Director of Sales and Marketing: With a career spanning 15 years, including 14 at Hyatt, Parasnis has worked at Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa and Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa. As Director of Sales and Marketing, in his current role he will be responsible for developing new marketing opportunities and implementing new sales strategies to drive sales of rooms and events at the hotel.

* Sujas K Nameth, Director of F&B: With 23 years of hospitality industry experience at Hyatt, Marriott & The Grand hotels in India and Muscat, Nameth is an industry veteran specializing in the Food & Beverage department. Nameth, in her current role, is responsible for providing strategic leadership to operations, maximizing F&B revenue, introducing new F&B concepts and enhancing the dining experience for customers, ensuring synergy and sustaining highest standards of customer service.

* Sahil Arora, Executive Chef: With 22 years of experience in brands such as Marriott, Hyatt and Shangri-La hotels in India. Chef Arora will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and safety of all kitchen operations, developing and adapting menus to suit guests and hotel needs while ensuring that all health, safety and service standards are met.

* Pratiti Rajpal, Director of Operations: She brings years of inspiring experience with Marriott & Hyatt hotels in India, with a decade of travel with Hyatt. She started as Marketing Communications Manager at Hyatt Regency Chennai in 2012 to play a cluster role at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa and Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Marketing Communications Cluster Director at Andaz Delhi and Grand Hyatt Gurgaon (pre -opening). Rajpal will oversee the operations of a 263 key hotel in various segments.
