On Monday, November 1, The Carroll Companies announced the addition of Carroll Hospitality to its growing family of companies, which includes The Rhino Times.
Carroll Hospitality will oversee the day-to-day operations of Hyatt Place Greensboro Downtown owned by The Carroll Companies.
Since opening in March 2019, the Hyatt Place has been managed by a third-party management company. Carroll Hospitality took over this management on Monday, November 1.

Despite the problems caused by the pandemic, the Hyatt Place has hosted more than 82,000 overnight guests since it opened, including those who travel to Greensboro for business meetings, weddings and sporting events.

Across the Hyatt Place intersection, Carroll is set to build an AC Hotel by Marriott, with construction expected to begin in early 2022, as part of the mixed-use development of Carroll Ballpark South .
The Avenue, a mixed-use project Carroll is developing in Wilmington, North Carolina, will include a Westin hotel with more than 200 rooms, suites, a conference center and spa.
